Preservation

All projects are independently surveyed to provide accurate data for biomass calculations, this forms the first part of the preservation process by auditing the current flora and fauna involved in the Carbon Project.

In Liberia, for example, some of the pristine canopy secured in the Upper Guinea rainforest effectively protects the current range of the Sapo National Park - an area of great importance which is home to many endangered species.

Other geographical areas under protection have yet to be explored in detail, beyond our initial survey work, and promise to reveal more area specific species & precious bio-diversity concentrations. Our project work is geographically important and contributes to arresting the spread of logging and unplanned expansion into preserved districts.
